We're not a large team of guys in suits. We're just a couple of guys with laptops, an internet connection, and lots of coffee.
We're located in Austin, TX, home of the Texas Longhorns, a vibrant live music scene, and some of the best wi-fi coffee shops in the country. If you're in the neighborhood, you might see us working in one.
Team
Our team is made up of Larry Kubin and Joshua Carnett, who met when they were hired by Enterprise Information Services as students at the University of Texas at Austin. They have worked together for five years now. After graduating, they worked on a consulting team that specialized in creating custom web applications for departments at the University of Texas. They founded Sephira Software in 2005 after several conversations at campus-area establishments like Trudy's, Spiderhouse, and the Metro coffee shop.
Larry
Larry has over six years of experience developing web applications. In his spare time, he enjoys live music, road trips, and a nice competitive game of Scrabble or poker. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering and his BA in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004.
Joshua
Josh has been programming since he was 12 years old. Today he's over twice that age, so he's really good at it by now. Lately he has been enjoying the finer things in life, like World of Warcraft, Rage Against the Machine, and playing with GPS-enabled electronics. He received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
